Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin, and raised within DeForest, Wisconsin, but she now lives at Los Angeles. After graduating from DeForest Area High Schools in DeForest and Stevens Point University in 1997 with a bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree, she was raised in Madison. In 2001, she earned her master's degree in fine arts from Rutgers University. Anders and her Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc and their relationship ran from 2006 until 2015. The two first met during the filming of the sitcom that was later cancelled. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com), is her twin brother. Anders Her career path began with the stage in 2001. She was an understudy for Mary Louise Parker for the Broadway production Proof. Anders also appeared as Elaine Robinson later in The Graduate. On the Jump was her debut appearance on The Arena Stage. New Doors was held in The Guthrie Theater. Two New York Stage & Film productions, namely Cold/Tender & New World Rhapsody were also produced through New York Stage & Film. Anders started in the month of May at her first Geffen Playhouse production of Fat Pig. Fat Pig shut down on July 1, 2007, with her playing the role of accountant Jeannie. Anders was first shown on television in an ad for Dannon the show, which ran from 2006 and again during the 90s. Anders' most famous role is Nicole Allen, a former wife of a footballer on The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). Both series were cancelled, even though she was in every episode. Anders made guest appearances on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. The actress was in five episodes of the HBO the drama Oz as Donna Degenhart in 2003, as well as a brief appearance in 2004's movie The Stepford Wives, playing her character Heather in the film, as well as in the 2008 movie Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders appeared on Numb3rs that aired in 2008. Anders is also featured in two television pilots that failed. The pilots included Spellbound and News To Me. Anders made an appearance as a character in Better Off Ted for ABC, which is a comedy-drama with only one camera. The script was written by Victor Fresco.

Sasha is transgender when she began her high school career. Sasha had to face some tough times however she was confident that his family would be there for him and that music could help. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters. They have been playing at local venues along with open mics and in other places. The Voice coaches never discussed Sasha's past, however Jim and Sasha have shared their story through a short video that was played prior to their performance. Both Jim and Sasha discussed the music they like in addition to how Sasha took up guitar the very first time at age six.
