Nancy Kovack
A native of Flint, Michigan, Nancy Kovack was studying at the University of Michigan at 15 and a radio DJ at 16, and a college graduate at the age of 19, and the holder of eight beauty crowns at 20. Her professional acting career started with television shows at New York, first as the Jackie Gleason character on "Glea Girls" before, and later, much more frequently, as a guest on The Dave Garroway Show (1953), Today (1952) and Beat the Clock (1950). Kovack joined Columbia after a stage appearance. The years following she accumulated an extensive list of television credits. Even awarded the Emmy in 1969 for her part in Mannix. Kovack is famously the wife of Zubin Mehta from the New York Philharmonic. She claims that she was swindled (to the tune 150 000) from Susan McDougal who was a important character on Whitewater. Has appeared five times on the situation comedy Bewitched (1964) and three of those appearances were as Darrin Stephens' humorous former love interest Sheila Summers. Her father was an executive at General Motors executive. Currently resides with her husband Zubin Mehta in Los Angeles, California. Graduated from and attended at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan (1954). Most famous for playing the gorgeous Indian Medicine Women Nona in Star Trek 2nd season's episode A Private Little War, 1968.
