Molly was raised and born in Pennsylvania. She began her professional stage career at the age of thirteen, at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. She played Little Red Ridinghood shortly after performing in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she won a Barrymore Award nomination. It was recast when Molly made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. Molly was awarded a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly appeared in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof (2004). Then, she attended Princeton University and was a member of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. After that, she went to Princeton University where she was a part of the Triangle Club and received a bachelor's degree in the year 2008. When she was in the university, Molly began her acting career in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Following graduation, Molly was in Off-Broadway productions of several productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and in some TV shows, including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a major part in a variety of regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in 2008 and Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she played Anne. Molly was best known as Ali on the television show Paranormal Activity 2 and for the ABC comedy Last Man Standing written by Jack Burditt and starring Tim Allen.
