Francia Raisa

In her junior high school season, Raisa started acting. She modelled for commercials in the form of print ads and was a part of commercials. Her appearances on the sitcoms American Family: Journey of Dreams and Over There. Raisa was Tamy of Lil' Romeo's music video "My Girlfriend". She also appeared as Iyaz on the video for "So Big". In the middle of her sophomore year, she was booked one of her debut lead roles in the film Hayden Panettiere, which she played on Bring It On: All or Nothing. Alexandra Delgado co-starred with Isabel in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules. She also appeared in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice. She played the lead role of Adrian Lee on the ABC Family hit drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager in July 2008 until the end of the series in June of 2013. As of 2009, Raisa was a guest on USA Network's TV series In Plain Sight and co-starred in a short movie directed by David Hennerie entitled Boo that aired on YouTube. The year 2013 saw Raisa played a role in the christmas-themed flick Christmas Bounty alongside Mike "The Miz" Mizanin. Raisa was in the movie on August 12, 2012. From 2018-2022, Raisa starred on the Freeform show Grown-ish. Produced by the Blackish's creator Kenya Barris. It was her part in the show for the first four seasons before stepping down from her role after the conclusion of season 4. The other shows she has appeared on include freeform's Life-Size 2 television movie, featuring Tyra banks. She was also a part of her role in the sequel to How I Met Your Mother series How I Met Your Father was officially announced by Hulu the 18th of January 2022. Sasha is transgender when she began her high school career. Sasha had to face some tough times however she was confident that his family would be there for him and that music could help. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters. They have been playing at local venues along with open mics and in other places. The Voice coaches never discussed Sasha's past, however Jim and Sasha have shared their story through a short video that was played prior to their performance. Both Jim and Sasha discussed the music they like in addition to how Sasha took up guitar the very first time at age six. As his father is a professional music educator Sasha was more able to grasp the concept. Sasha had a difficult time as a kid with the gender of his identity.
