Cynthia's career began when she moved into New York in order to develop into an fashion designer. The first model contract she signed was with Wihelmina Models. Cynthia's second cover was booked shortly after, setting the tone for a successful career. When she moved to Paris Cynthia took to the Paris Fashion Week runways and Milan Fashion Week. Vogue editorials followed, along together with Glamour magazine, Elle, Essence Vanity Fair and Glamour. One of Cynthia's biggest career moments was being chosen against Naomi Campbell for a co-starring role opposite Sandra Bernhadt in the film "Without You I'm Nothing."
