Becki Newton

Becki is an Connecticut native. She started performing in local shows and in summer stock theater at age thirteen. She studied European History at the University of Pennsylvania, during which the course she attended several months abroad. Becki was immediately moved to NYC after graduation in order in order to take on Broadway. She's appeared in many nationally-telecast commercials, guest-starring as well as recurring roles such as Cold Case (2003) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1998), American Dreams (2002) and got Amanda's part on Ugly Betty (2007). Her husband is actor Chris Diamantopoulos, and her brother is actor Matt Newton. When I think of gorgeous women, they're not supermodels. The good thing is that I'm able to let the professionals do it at work and red-carpet events since I'm not able to say that I'm an expert. Yet, I'm no squeamish about taking risks regarding beauty. It's a pleasure to be glamorous! Making the right preparations for your day is not about being fussy. The focus is on self-care. Sasha is transgender when she began her high school career. Sasha had to face some tough times however she was confident that his family would be there for him and that music could help. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters. They have been playing at local venues along with open mics and in other places. The Voice coaches never discussed Sasha's past, however Jim and Sasha have shared their story through a short video that was played prior to their performance. Both Jim and Sasha discussed the music they like in addition to how Sasha took up guitar the very first time at age six. As his father is a professional music educator Sasha was more able to grasp the concept. Sasha had a difficult time as a kid with the gender of his identity.
