Allison Stokke's adventure in the world of pole vaulting came to an untimely end, however Stokke did win some big successes, particularly at the beginning of her career. Her pole-vaulting achievements were also sexualized by multiple blogs, that questioned her deserved recognition and portrayed her as a mere sex-symbol.
