Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor and correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July 2003. Colby has been anchor, reporter and correspondent for CBS News before becoming a correspondent for FOX News Channel. Colby was also a substitute on CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is a lawyer from the University of California and has been licensed to practice law in New York, California Florida, as well as District of Columbia. Colby has been awarded such awards like the Edward R. Murrow National Award in 2002, for her coverage of the September 11 attacks, the Gracie Award for investigative reporting in 2000 and in 2000, the Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Star To Follow". Colby worked as an attorney who, along with her professional career as a journalist for 10 years as a private practitioner. Her law practice began by working with a Hollywood entertainment company that took her to The Tonight Show. At 22, she worked with Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC and during his divorce. Colby hosts and reporter of Strange Inheritance on Fox Business, covering quirky or surprising legacy left behind by loved ones or relatives.
